The aim of this charity is to raise money to use for equipment and services which are not available on the NHS to benefit Castle Medical Group patients. This charity is registered with the charities commission and the money will be controlled by an independent body of trustees.

The Friends of Castle Medical Group in association with Tesco’s “Bags for Help” have raised funds to provide the practice with a centrifuge machine. The centrifuge is used to separate blood cells from plasma cells, therefore, allowing certain blood tests to be done in the afternoon for collection the following morning so enabling more blood appointments to be accessible to our patients.
